• STEAM CAMP

Designed ana facilitated by Graduate Students from Buffalo State University, and learners and faculty of the Ranger Robotic Team from Spencerport School District in New York State, our annual Steam Camp kickstarts the year in January, with hands on scientific discovery. This year the team was joined by a peadiatric nurse specialist who conducted a health screening for the entire school.

  • READING CAMP

We have a strong focus on reading at Holy Cross and are blessed with two well stocked libraries, but the highlight of the reading year is undoubtably Reading Camp. Reading Camp is held at Assegai Trails and is a combination of summer camp and intensive reading strengthenting activities. Reading for pleasure is one of the stations and is manned by local an international volunteers.

  • Outings

Through the generosity of neighbouring nature reserves Pumba and Amahala our children are able to visit and learn about wildlife every year. In addition, we aim for at least one outing per class per term including trips to museums, mini-SAS experiments in nearby rivers, trips to the coast and even shopping outings for little ones learning about money.
